MacKay reveals massive disconnect from Canadians' reality

It's these kinds of stories that really make me think we're losing our way. When our own government reps don't get how completely offensive it is to Canadians enduring a recession to see their politicians spending like drunken sailors on luxury trips all over the world - well, what does that say?
At the very least, this latest spending revelation makes it clear that Peter MacKay has got to go. As the saying goes: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

its just too funny watching the Conservatives outspend the Liberals when they were in power.

It was the same when Mulroney was in power, they outspent the Liberals and ran higher deficets.

I would suggest people go back and read Stevie Cameron's book, On the Take, which chronicles the Mulroney years. I would suggest when all is said and done, the Harper years won't be any better.

Mackay is just another example of "the attitude". They think they are annoited by god and deserve what they take. The people who are having difficulty making ends meet just aren't trying hard enough. Just look what MacKay has been able to achieve with a little effort, huge travel expenditures.

The fact most First Nations people live in unacceptable housing, well that doesn't matter, Peter is out there doing good works representing Canada and that is so much more important than children living in third world conditions.

I look at it this way, the Liberals "steal" with one hand, the Conservatives "steal" with two hands.

May they all rot in Hell.

You should reconsider your drunken sailors comment, as they are much more decent human beings in that they are spending their own money, rather than that taken from hard-working citizens.

I would recommend you to come up with posts a bit a lot more often.
